Well they had an invite only status challenge, and at the time I had no status (with american)

Signed up for the gold challenge a few days ago, apparently got approved, and now I’m Platinum. I maybe its just for the duration of the challenge, I dont know, but I’ll take it.

Thankfully keeping status is easier than earning it.

So hopefully I can go in and keep the gold, getting 12 segments + miles in 3 months is pretty easy.

I’m too cheap and don’t fly enough for that. The only time I see first class is the pity upgrade.
